Preparations have begun for work that will close portions of Leahy Drive and Dorr Road from Monday, Oct. 19, to Sunday, Oct. 25.
Traffic along Leahy Drive will be restricted between Bulla Road (at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC)) and Moose Krause Circle/Courtney Lane (near the Guglielmino Athletics Complex). The B2 parking lots and the Hesburgh Library circle driveway will remain open during the work period. However, motorists should use Twyckenham Drive as an alternate route to access the northeast and southeast areas of campus. See the attached map for details. leahydriveroadclosureplan_oct15.pdf
There will be no access to campus at Dorr Road and Michigan Street (Ind. 933/U.S. 31-33), but drivers will have access to the D6 parking lots along Dorr Road. Faculty, staff and students should use Saint Mary’s Road as an alternate route to access the west side of campus.
