Stadium South Parking Lots
The parking lots south of Notre Dame Stadium will be reconstructed in phases over the next two years to minimize the loss of parking during the upcoming academic year.
• Beginning on Monday, May 16, the western half of the parking lot located immediately east of Legends will be closed for the installation of geothermal wells. It will then be reconstructed and opened prior to the start of the 2016-17 academic year.
• The parking lot located south of Holy Cross Drive and north of the Notre Dame Sculpture Park will be reconstructed from May 16 to July 5. Updates will be provided throughout the summer and academic year. The phasing plan will be posted at construction.nd.edu.

LaFortune Student Center (west entry porch on Main Quad)
The west entry porch will be reconstructed, including the entrances to the lower and first floor levels. Work is expected to begin on Monday, May 16, and complete by mid-August. A site logistics plan along with signage and wayfinding will be posted around and throughout the building to aid in navigating around the construction zone.

Walkway near Fitzpatrick Hall of Engineering
The lawn immediately on the south side of Fitzpatrick Hall and walkways along the east entrance will be removed (and ultimately replaced), to allow for the installation of a waterproofing system for the two basement floors that extend past the south edge of the building. The work will begin after Commencement and conclude by mid-August.
The project will be completed in two stages so that pedestrian pathways will be maintained at all times between Fitzpatrick Hall, Snite Museum, DeBartolo Hall and the South Quad. A site logistics plan along with signage and wayfinding will be posted at construction.nd.edu to aid in navigating around the construction zones.

B1 Parking Lot

The Parking Lot at Notre Dame Avenue and Holy Cross Drive (south of the Hesburgh Center for International Studies) will become a construction site for the future Jenkins Hall and Nanovic Hall. Faculty and staff who use this lot will have two nearby alternative options for parking during the workday:  1) The BK-1 lot along Holy Cross Drive between the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore and Cedar Grove Cemetery will have open parking for anyone, including faculty and staff. 2) The visitor lot at Holy Cross Drive and Eddy Street across from the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center will become a gated lot for faculty and staff during normal business hours.  Pedestrians will still have use of walkways surrounding the project site, including several that meet Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility guidelines, for easy access to buildings in the area. View mapof the project site.
