For weeks, those who work inside the Main Building anticipated the installation of the cupola on top of neighboring Remick Family Hall. They noticed the cupola arrive at the construction site and watched workers prepare the fixture and roof for the installation. On Wednesday, University photographer Matt Cashore was among those who witnessed this crowning achievement. He was able to capture video and photographs.

Remick Family Hall replaces Brownson Hall on a site immediately northwest of the Main Building. It is designed in the French Second Empire architectural style inspired by other buildings in this deeply historic campus neighborhood. Remick Family Hall, an extension of the Institute for Educational Initiatives including the Alliance for Catholic Education will host classrooms, offices, and a student commons.
