Signage Consultation and Install
Signage placement and design at the University of Notre Dame is guided by the Seven Tenets outlined in the Campus Plan. Facilities Design and Operations provides guidelines to ensure signage is properly designed and placed without cluttering the campus and detracting from its enjoyment.
Exterior Signage
Exterior signage consists of informational wayfinding to help the campus community navigate vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Exterior signage provides directional information or identification of buildings, places of interest, parking spaces, etc.

Interior and Special Signage
The Office of Procurement maintains a list of preferred vendors for departments to purchase interior and special signage, including, but not limited to:
- Yard signs
- Nametags
- Posters
- Digital wall coverings
- Custom signage, theming and branding
- Interior banners
