The Interior Architecture team, led by Julie Boynton, is responsible for the planning of all interior spaces around campus. The Interior Architecture team can help faculty and staff navigate the different options for acquiring or replacing furniture as well as provide guidance for furniture selection and interior renovations.
To acquire, remove and repair furniture:
FurnishND is the primary avenue for faculty and staff to submit day-to-day furnishing requests for work spaces, conference rooms and reception areas. Many services are available to departments free of charge. The team at FurnishND can help your office acquire free, pre-owned furniture from the University on-campus inventory as well as new modular pieces. They can also assist you with the removal and repair of existing furniture in your office. To initiate a request, complete the form below:
To acquire an ergonomic tool or desk chair:
Business Furnishings is the University's preferred furniture vendor. Visit the Business Furniture showroom on Tuesdays, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Notre Dame Maintenance Center, Room 1059. No appointment is necessary.
To change the furniture configuration in your work space:
